Absolute Garcinia is an over the counter weight loss supplement that is based on a “free” trial product that registers participants for an auto-ship program in which a full sized bottle will be automatically mailed out shortly afterward and they will continue to be mailed out on a monthly basis until the customer cancels the program.
These auto-ship strategies are notoriously difficult for customers to be able to cancel without obtaining at least one unwanted bottle and charge on their credit card. That said, it is not known whether or not customers who have ordered Absolute Garcinia have found that the system works for them or whether they end up with at least one full cost bottle, purchase price and shipping charge that they did not want.
This company describes Absolute Garcinia as being a “revolutionary” diet product. This is only one of hundreds, if not thousands of diet pills that have been described in this way. It is important to take a much closer look at the product before trusting what is said by the manufacturer and especially before handing over a credit card number for an auto ship program that is launched by a free trial.
At the time that this review was written, the impression that was left by the official website was that the only ingredient within this product is garcinia cambogia. This is a substance that has received a massive amount of hype, particularly after Dr. Oz mentioned it on his show. Of course, it should also be pointed out that this same television celebrity had to face a federal Senate committee in 2014 as a result of the unsubstantiated claims that he was making about that and at least a couple of dozen other similar ingredients.
While there have been some limited and very early preliminary studies on garcinia cambogia, the outcomes have been very mild and far more research would be required before it could be determined whether this ingredient is effective, how much is required in order to make it effective, and whether or not there is a maximum dose above which the use of this substance becomes dangerous.
While some supplements have used this ingredient successfully as a part of broader formulas that contain other proven substances, the fact that Absolute Garcinia uses only one active ingredient suggests that dieters may find greater benefit from products that support the garcinia cambogia with other ingredients.
