For those fancy step up videos why buy that pricey step when you could use a stepping stool for the same effect. Most households have a step stool in the closet or pantry, get it out and put it to use.

You could run up your stairs for a good cardio drill, lean on a table to do push-ups or use a chair for tricep dips. Instead of a treadmill why not just take a good walk or two around your block, you'd get that much needed fresh air and feel energized. In place of the stability ball use an extra large children's ball, you could sit on it while watching television; it's great for strengthening abs and back muscles.
