Lipro Diet Pills Review

Lipro Diet Pills are another example of diet pills manufactured in China and sold exclusively online. A company by the name of Realzodiac International claims to have designed Lipro Diet Pills and is the primary distributor. It is important to note that there are two other diet pills with almost identical ingredients to Lipro Diet Pills: Slimbionic Diet Pills and Lida DaiDaihua Slimming Pills. It can be assumed that all three of these products are manufactured by the same company, Kunming Lingcao Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Due to the similarity between Lipro diet pills and Lida DaiDaihua Slimming Pills, it is strongly recommended that you avoid taking this supplement. In January 2009, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) listed Lida DaiDaihua Slimming Pills in their warning to the public about tainted diet pills when it was discovered that Lida DaiDaihua Slimming Pills contain the prescription drug sibutramine (Read more about FDA Tainted Diet Pill Warning). Sibutramine is the generic name for prescription weight loss medications Meridia and Reductil.

The official website that sells Lipro diet pills does not provide a full list of ingredients. Some of the ingredients that can be distiguished amongst the garble of gibberish on their website include sweet potato fiber, cyamoposis gum, amor phallus konjac, alfalfa, Tuckahoe, kola, guttiferae plant, Coleus Scutellarioides and Guarana. Assuming that these marketing geniuses wouldn’t fail to list their most important weight loss ingredient on their website, let’s examine Lipro to see if any of its ingredients they may help you to lose weight.

  • Sweet Potato Fiber - There is quite a bit of evidence supporting the use of fiber as a weight loss aid. Fiber is slowly digested, helping the body feel full longer. Sweet potato also has other benefits for weight loss including carotenoids help to stabilize blood sugar levels and lower insulin resistance.
  • Cyamoposis Gum - This is a fancier, and mis-spelled name for guar gum (Cyamopsis is the correct spelling). Guar gum is a source of fiber and helps to curb hunger.
  • Amorphallus Konjac - Konjac is a tuberous plant that grows in Asia and is what Glucomannan is derived from. Glucomannan is a common ingredient in many weight loss pills for its ability to slow digestion and increase the absorption of dietary sugar. In this way, Glucomannan helps to stabilize blood sugar levels.
  • Alfalfa - Despite its many health benefits, including being an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, there is no evidence that alfalfa promotes weight loss. Alfalfa may have diuretic properties.
  • Tuckahoe - Tuckahoe is a fungus with diuretic properties commonly used in chinese medicine.
  • Kola - Assuming they mean Kola Nut, this African plant is a common ingredient in diet pills as a source of caffeine.
  • Guttiferae - Guttiferae is a family name for plants in the genus Garcinia. Of these plants, Garcinia cambogia is most commonly used as an ingredient in diet pills. Garcinia cambogia is also known as Citrimax or Hydroxycitric acid (HCA). This ingredient has been found to suppress appetite and enhance metabolism in animal trials, however human trials are still inconclusive.
  • Coleus Scutellarioides - The roots of this coleus plant contain diterpene forskolin. In vitro studies with coleus shows that it may stimulate fat metabolism.
  • Guarana - Guarana is a common diet pill ingredient and is a natural source of caffeine.

There are a number of stimulants, mostly caffeine, in the ingredients of Lipro Diet Pills that will give you a boost of energy and raise metabolism. Other ingredients including fiber, citrimax and diuretics will work to some extent to suppress appetite, curb hunger and rid the body of water weight. The main concern with these diet pills is that they are closely related to Lida DaiDaihua Slimming Pills that have been found to be tainted with prescription drugs. For this reason, taking Lipro Diet Pills may pose serious health risks and is not recommended as a safe weight loss supplement.

Just want to post a follow up of my previous post. The first set of pills I took were from an Irish seller on e-bay (I’m Irish). I lost a lot of weight and the side effects were common but bearable. This latest box of LIPRO I ordered from vitaworld (UK) via e-bay, because they’re cheaper… I had the headache and dry mouth as before but my heart rate increased something awful, at night I’d be lying in bed thinking I was about to have a heart attack, its very, very scary! The last time I found it no real problem getting to sleep after a while, I’d be less tired alright, and I’d hop outta bed fresh as a daisy in the morning, but this time, I couldnt get to sleep for hours, sometimes untill 6-7am and then I’d be unable to get up when I needed to.
Also: I didnt loose any weight, infact I’ve put on weight as they didnt curb my appetite like the LIPRO pills I took before did from the Irish e-bay seller. None-the-less I suspect they are fakes, and quite dangerous. I’m going to bin them. I’m hitting the slim-fast and attapting a low calorie diet, well for a few weeks at least, and if that fails I’ll try my original Irish e-bay seller for a batch of his LIPRO to compare this more recent experience with. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
