GCBX review

[starratingmulti id=1 tpl=12]

GCBX is a weight loss product that has made its way into the nonprescription market relatively recently, when compared with some of the other major players on the store shelves. This is a product that is based on a number of the greatly hyped ingredients, such as African mango and green coffee bean extract, that have nearly no scientific research to support their claims but that have had a lot of attention in mainstream media, such as through the Dr. Oz Show and in popular magazines.

According to the official website for the product, using GCBX provides the opportunity for the user to experience a range of different benefits. The primary claim that is made by that website is that within a span of ten weeks, it is possible to lose 28 pounds. This would represent a rapid rate of weight loss, averaging nearly 3 pounds per week. This is typically slightly above what a doctor would recommend as a healthy rate of weight loss for many healthy people, but it certainly isn’t extreme or dangerous for the average individual, assuming that it doesn’t continue for a long period of time.

They claim that there was a 12 week study in which the average weight loss in 10 weeks was 21 pounds. That said, there was no information provided regarding the method of the study, how many participants were involved, or even whether it was the manufacturer, itself, that held it. This does not appear to be scientific proof on any level.

Of course, this is assuming that these pills can actually live up to the claims made on the official website.

The next promise made on the benefit is that all of the ingredients that it contains are natural. The official website does not provide a complete list of all of the ingredients, which may mean that the only active ingredients are green coffee extract and African mango. Those are, indeed, natural substances, but they are not considered proven within the medical community.

The third claim is that no changes will be needed to diet and exercise routines in order to lose weight with GCBX. If nothing else causes a dieter to see a red flag about this product, that claim certainly should. No diet product – prescription or over the counter – has been shown to cause weight loss all on its own, without any changes to diet and exercise. That said, even if it did work that way – which it does not, of course – it would only mean that as soon as the consumer stopped using the pill, they would gain back all of the weight because they have continued the same habits that caused them to become overweight in the first place.
