Stimerex ES is a nonprescription diet pill that is marketed as a solution to allow dieters to overcome their struggles. The way that it claims to be able to do this is by acting as a very powerful fat burner, while adding the ability to control the appetite, which makes it even easier for dieters to be able to shed the extra pounds.
This product proudly proclaims that it contains 25 mg of ephedra per tablet. This, despite the fact that it is manufactured and sold in the United States, a country in which it is illegal to manufacture, sell, or purchase weight loss pills that include this ingredient.
The ephedra is contained within a branded ingredient in Stimerex ES called Thermo-Z. At the time that this review was written, no mention of whether or not the ingredient is safe or legal was made on the official website. It only described the way in which it claims that the ingredient works.
When conducting further research off the official website, there are a number of other products that were found to contain this ingredient, as well. They all have an identical paragraph posted on their websites that states that Thermo-Z is the only form of ephedra leaves that the DEA and FDA have studied and, therefore, they say the ephedrine alkaloid ban from the FDA does not apply. Each of those sites point out that this ingredient is legal for sale in all 50 states as Thermo-Z cannot be converted into the creation of illegal drugs.
At the time of this review, no official FDA or DEA reference to Thermo-Z could be found that would suggest that it is exempt from the ban. The only statements that could be discovered were that ephedra and ephedrine alkaloids are banned for use in over the counter weight loss pills due to dangerous reactions and reports of considerable health risks and even death as a result of its use.
For this reason, it is vitally important to speak with a doctor before using Stimerex ES, as it may or may not contain an illegal substance which could potentially cause dangerous reactions in some users.
The rest of the ingredients within this pill include: yohimbe extract, theobromine, caffeine, 5-methoxytryptamine (5-MOT), and cassia nomame. It is clear that, as the name of the pill suggests, the primary ingredients focus is on stimulants. Regardless of whether or not Thermo-Z is legal, that ingredient and several others in this formula are stimulants, which could lead to unwanted side effects in many dieters.
