i took a prescribed 3 month dose of xenical and did not lose a pound in that time.could not handle the side affect of bowel movement.i was literally housebound because of side affects.it is not suitable for everyone!!!!!!

Xenical should be avoided. The side-effects are unbelievably bad. You pretty much can't control your bowel movements. I stopped taking it only after a week because it was so bad.
Yes, alli is xenical only a smaller dosage (half the dose). I took xenical and lost about 15 pounds in a month. some of the side-effects are pretty bad.
