Fedramine is a diet supplement that is available without a prescription.  This product’s manufacturer makes broad claims about its uses and benefits.  Primarily, it has been marketed as a kind of over the counter alternative to the popular prescription weight loss drug called Phentermine.

The manufacturer in question is Internet Marketing Solutions Group, LLC, a name which doesn’t exactly suggest expertise in the weight loss supplement area.  That said, it’s important not to judge a book by its cover, as a brand’s name doesn’t necessarily reflect the quality of its formulas. Therefore, it’s a good idea to take a closer look at a pill before passing judgment.

What Are the Claims Regarding Fedramine Diet Pills?

The claims that are made about Fedramine diet pills are that they can:

  • Energize the user
  • Increase his or her metabolism
  • Provide appetite suppression

These are common claims within the non-prescription weight loss market.  However, while some pills can provide some or all these benefits, many don’t provide any at all, or come with unwanted risks that could place the user’s comfort or even health in danger.

How to Use This Supplement

Fedramine is meant to be used with a proper diet plan and regular physical activity. It is not meant for women who are either pregnant or breastfeeding. The product also contains warnings for individuals with kidney problems, thyroid disease, high blood pressure, and clinical depression, as well as for individuals younger than 18 years. Anyone with these conditions or who is too young for this product should speak with a doctor before considering its use. It is more than likely that a physician would not recommend risking the use of this product alongside those conditions.

Among the primary ingredients in the formula for Fedramine are: Vitamin B12, Chromium, Manganese, and White Willow Bark. It should also be mentioned that Citrus Aurantium is an ingredient in this pill.

Though there are claims that these common diet pill ingredients help to burn fat or increase the metabolism, they have not been clinically proven to do so. The only ingredient in this formula with any clinical evidence of a positive impact on weight loss is green tea extract, but that is only effective in certain quantities, and as the manufacturer has not posted the quantities of each ingredient, it is impossible to know if enough has been included here.

The reason that it is important to know that Citrus Aurantium is an ingredient in Fedramine diet pills is that while it has been associated with some small amounts of weight loss, it is also linked to a high risk of side effects, some mild, others very unpleasant. This is because it is a very powerful stimulant that contains synephrine.

The fact that it is combined with other stimulants in this Fedramine formula only increases the risk of side effects such as nervousness, dry mouth, restlessness, insomnia, headache, jitters, nausea, and others. In fact, for many years the FDA publicly warned consumers against the use of any weight loss pill combining synephrine with other stimulants such as caffeine as it increased the risk of heart-related events such as heart attack and stroke.

What Do You Get with a Purchase?

Every bottle of this product contains 60 capsules, which provides a thirty-day supply of the supplement.  The directions on the package recommend that users take two Fedramine diet pills every day for best results

At the time of the original version of this review, a single bottle was priced at $69.00 on the official website. This is a very high price for a diet supplement, especially considering its ingredients. Other products with a similar formula have been found online for half that price or less.

February 2020 Update

As of February 2020, official links regarding Fedramine were no longer found through googling.  Moreover, there wasn’t any evidence of third-party retailers or merchants selling this product.

It seems fair to assume that this product has been discontinued.  Therefore, if you happen to come across a bottle of it being sold online, it is not recommended that you purchase it. It isn’t possible to know if it is still fresh, if the package contains the claimed product, or to receive any form of customer support.

In an industry with many more options readily available, it is better to look into any of the dozens of other promising products instead of Fedramine.

Though there is still a company named Marketing Solutions Group, LLC, it doesn’t appear to have anything to do with the diet pill industry.  This may suggest that either the original company shut down, and a new one has launched under the same name but with a different goal, or the original company may have entirely shifted focus to ensure its purpose more closely reflects its name.
